Mud and Debris Flow Modeling
This training package focuses on FLO-2D component to simulate hyper concentrated sediment flows (mud and debris flows). This component is used to model mud and debris flow hazards worldwide including tailings dam failures.

The presentation is divided into three training sessions and because there are many years of good training videos, the links offer the related videos from around 2017 to present day.
Session I.

- FLO-2D mathematical representation;
- How to perform a mud and debris simulation.
Session II.
- Mud and debris flow simulation guidelines;
- Selecting hyperconcentrated sediment flow parameters;
- Potential flood scenarios;
- Hazard mapping tools.
Session III includes videos on Sediment Supply and Post Fire Studies. The sediment supply video will be updated by Feb 18, 2022.
